Robin Sayed – Professional Coaching Bio

Athletic Background

Robin brings over 35 years of racing experience, beginning as a high school champion runner and collegiate athlete before evolving into one of the most versatile endurance athletes in the Pacific Northwest. Her résumé includes 50+ marathons nationwide with seven Boston Marathon finishes, 16 Ironman races with six Kona World Championship qualifications (personal best 10:31:32 at Florida Ironman), and 35 Half Ironman finishes with a recent (personal best of 4:59:25 in Salem, Oregon). Her athletic range extends to Ultraman Canada, three Race Across Oregon completions, Xterra competition, and Ultra Cycling state time trial records in both Washington and Oregon. Robin continues to race at a high-level, walking the walk alongside her athletes on the world championship stage.

 

Qualifications & Coaching Philosophy

A USAT-certified coach with 25 years of coaching experience specializing in running (5K to ultra-distance), cycling, swimming, and triathlon (sprint to Ultraman), Robin has guided athletes from beginning sprints to age-group podiums, Ironman Kona qualifications and Boston Marathon entries. As a Masters athlete, she brings deep understanding of how aging affects performance and recovery, incorporating evidence-based programming that keeps athletes healthy, competitive, and enjoying the journey. Her coaching philosophy centers on strategic goal setting, progressive training, and building a supportive community where transformation extends far beyond race day. No experience is required—just willingness to seek out a new adventure.

Having balanced a demanding career as a Technical Product Manager at Amazon's Project Kuiper with competitive racing at the highest level, Robin understands that success isn't about finding more time—it's about creating the right structure. She coaches men and women of all ages and abilities across every distance of multisport racing and running; developing both the physical and mental game.  She enhances her programs with strength training, basic nutritional guidance, and injury prevention. Her hands-on approach ensures athletes receive focused preparation without sacrificing what matters most to their progress.
